LSU-affiliated organization promoting French language and culture in Louisiana.

The Friends of French Studies supports and participates in the mission of LSU's French Department and other French educational programs and activities of the University. Our goal is to preserve and promote Louisiana's unique Francophone heritage and culture, including Cajun, Creole, and classical French traditions.

Un groupe animé s’est réuni mardi soir pour célébrer la fête nationale de la France lors de la Soirée 5 à 7. Merci à tous qui y ont assisté! Et merci à la Brasserie Byronz d’offrir un menu spécial pour le 14 juillet avec une sélection de boissons et petites assiettes pour seulement $7.14 chacun!

A lively group gathered Tuesday evening to celebrate France’s fête nationale (Bastille Day) during the Soirée 5 á 7. Thanks to all who attended! And thanks to Brasserie Byronz for offering a special July 14 menu featuring a selection of drinks and small plates at only $7.14 each! Note: The specials will continue until the end of the week.
