The SUAF-WDC Chapter Scholarship is a competitive, merit-based scholarship open to incoming and continuing Southern University students from the DMV. The application deadline is 11:59 PM CST Wednesday September 11, 2024.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Be a Southern University student from the SUAF - Washington, DC Chapter service area (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and surrounding areas)

Enrolled in an undergraduate program at Southern University

Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and considered a full-time student

I’m running to BRIDGE our Alumni with our illustrious to FOSTER UNITY, and DRIVE SOUTHERN’S MISSION FORWARD.

As 3rd VP I will:

1️⃣ Eliminate the disconnect between our campuses and Alumni chapters by fostering close-knit relationships with each campus and Alumni, so that we can leverage and amplify our powerful network to increase our student body and enrich our students’ experience at our beloved institutions.

2️⃣ Create a comprehensive toolkit for Alumni Chapters that will provide quick references and direct contacts for university vendors, streamlining their operations and enhancing their ability to support the University’s mission effectively.

3️⃣ Enhance student success through finding by working closely with the SUS and Alumni Chapters to ensure that our students have the necessary funding to complete their matriculation.
