We invite you, your family to join us at the CPM Bible College Gala, “The Remnant Gala”. It will be held Friday, April 4th 7 p.m. This is a benefit Gala supporting scholarship education for deserving students pursuing degrees in Bible, Theology, Christian Counseling, Pastoral Ministry, Divinity and more. It will be an evening of the Word, great fellowship, fine dining, music and much more.
We have sought input from all races, colors, creeds, organizations, businesses, churches and communities. Various ministry gifts from across many parishes, communities and servant leaders will participate in this event.
Children from the “Kid’s Orchestra of Baton Rouge” will serve during this event along with many noted gospel artists. The Kids' Orchestra's mission is to bring children of all cultures and backgrounds together using music education as a vehicle to foster teamwork, develop understanding and emphasize excellence. Kids' Orchestra is supported in part by a Decentralized Arts Funding Grant from the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge in cooperation with the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, and Louisiana State Arts Council.
Minister Albert White, hailing from North Louisiana, a resident of Baton Rouge; one who loves God and His people; husband, father, psalmist, writer, producer; passionate in the Word, continually ushering His people into the throne room of God. His newest CD, “For Better or For Worse” is a composition of love songs to encourage, strengthen husbands, wives in their covenant relationship with God.
Dr. Merdean Fielding Gales, a 50 year gospel music leader, member of the National Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame will also be serving during this event. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, co-host, producer of the longest running St. Louis TV talk show; airing on Fox Channel 2 and co-host of the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Hour, BET.
Judge John Michael Guidry, 1st Circuit Court of Appeal Judge, will also be serving during this benefit scholarship education gala. Judge Guidry is a 1980 graduate of McKinley High School, a 1983 graduate of LSU and a 1987 Cum Laude graduate of the Southern University Law Center. He formerly served as legislative assistant to the Honorable Joseph A. Delpit and served as former commissioner of the Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission and the Greater Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Commission. Judge Guidry is an adjunct professor at Southern University Law Center and the Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy, Southern University. He is active in community, civic service, church and professional organizations. .
Bishop Eugene Harris, Pastor of Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church, New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 50 years in ministry, wisdom in the Word; a testimony of steadfastness, perseverance, healing and faith; a business owner and Father to many sons, daughters in the Gospel will also be participating in this event along with many other five-fold ministry gifts.
