From CNA to nursing student to registered nurse - Ashley Stoner’s TCL journey is one of growth, confidence and opportunity! As part of the first NSAP cohort, Ashley gained hands-on experience at BMH, strengthened her clinical skills, and secured a job before graduation. Now she’s helping pave the way for future TCL nurses!

Are you interested in learning a new language or strengthening the language skills you already have?

Join us for an upcoming interest meeting for TCL’s Foreign Language Club, open to all currently enrolled TCL students.

The meeting will take place Tuesday, September 8, at 1 p.m. in Building 12, Room 216 on the Beaufort Mather Campus.

Students are invited to learn more about the club, connect with others who share an interest in language and culture, and explore opportunities to expand their language-learning experience at TCL.

TCL is made stronger by a community that believes in our students and the futures they are working hard to build.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bluffton Rotary Satellite Club for its generous contribution to TCL’s Nursing Scholarship Fund. For a student pursuing a career in nursing, scholarship support can be life changing. It can ease a financial burden and help that student continue moving confidently toward graduation.

TCL President Dr. Laurie Boeding recently visited with General Art Brown, a longtime Lowcountry leader and champion of the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

At 97, General Brown's service and commitment to TCL continue to inspire us. It was an opportunity for Dr. Boeding to thank him personally and spend time with a man who has meant so much to the college.

College Services - Friday, August 28

Most college offices will be closed Friday, August 28, while faculty and staff participate in Convocation.

Limited services will be available at the New River Campus and at the HUB on the Beaufort Mather Campus. Please expect possible wait times and delays in response.

Some scheduled instructional activities will continue. Students should follow the schedule and instructions provided by their faculty or program.

Normal college services will resume Monday, August 31.
