🏆 IC STEM Camp Week 1, Day 5!

What an incredible way to wrap up the week! Campers put their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills to the test as they unveiled their Rube Goldberg machines. After days of planning, designing, and one big day of building, each team showcased a unique solution to complete the challenge.

Congratulations to Team Bracket and Orange You Jealous You Aren’t Us?, whose machines successfully protected their eggs from breaking! In the end, Team Bracket took home the win for the day. 🎉

We also recognized our Campers of the Week for their leadership, enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive attitudes throughout camp:

IC STEM Camp Week 1, Day 3!

Today was packed with hands-on STEM exploration! Campers created volcanoes in a bag, designed marble ramps, and investigated concepts like density and magnetism through interactive activities. We were also joined by the Mason STEM Scholars, who shared engaging lessons across a variety of STEM fields.

To wrap up the day, campers got a sneak peek at Texas Academy and began preparing for Friday’s big challenge: designing their own Rube Goldberg machines. We can’t wait to see their creativity and teamwork in action!

Day 2 at IC STEM was full of new activities !🧪

Campers explored the cool science behind liquid nitrogen (and made ice cream!), participated in nurse-related situations, made butter, put their math skills to work, and got creative with a fun stickman cup activity. Another day of learning, creativity, and STEM fun! 🚀

🤖 IC STEM Camp Week 1, Day 1: Robotics!

Campers jumped right into the world of robotics with relay races, VEX robot building, and team mini-games designed to help them earn points and gain advantages in the relays. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition, students got a hands-on introduction to engineering and robotics while having a blast!

We can’t wait to see what they’ll create next! ⚙️🚀
