Update on fabrication: we remain ahead of schedule, our competition date is March 27th (virtually). We are now matching plates and prepared for finishing welds on the left side of the bridge.

Meet Geneva College's 2015 Steel Bridge Team. From left to right: Kyle Esheleman, Kody Oliver, Nick Goforth, Paige Southworth, Joe Hlebiczki, James Gregor, and Adviser Mr. Liljestrand. The team recently finished their progress report and group presentation and is now digging into fabrication. March 28 will be here before we know it!

Here it is! Geneva College's 2015 Steel Bridge Final Design! This bridge is comprised of a combination of deck and through trusses that was developed from a combination of two of the preliminary designs. The bridge is anticipated to weigh just slightly over 200 pounds!

The 2015 Student Steel Bridge Team here at Geneva has been hard at work this semester. The objective this year is to design 18'-6" to 20'-6" steel bridge that spans a 6'-6" river at its center with a clearance of 1'-6". Here are the 4 preliminary designs that the team developed this semester.
