New River is growing!
Enrollment at New River Community and Technical College is up nearly 11% this fall compared with Fall 2025, with growth across several key areas:
First-time freshman enrollment is up nearly 26%
More than 850 high school students are expected to participate in dual enrollment this fall
This growth represents more than numbers. It represents more students choosing New River to begin their college journey, prepare for a career, earn college credit while still in high school, or create a new opportunity for themselves and their families.
The momentum we are seeing is the result of a college-wide commitment to making education accessible, affordable and responsive to the communities we serve.
We are proud of the growth, grateful to the faculty and staff who make it possible, and most importantly, excited about the opportunities ahead for our students.
