Student Leadership Week, Aug. 31 – Sep 4
Student Leadership Week is dedicated to developing student leaders, strengthening student organizations, and highlighting the impact of service as a foundation of effective leadership. Through a campus-wide service project, an Involvement RSO Fair, and the RSO Workshop.
RSO Service Project, Monday, Aug. 31 @ 2 p.m.
Join student leaders from across campus to participate in a service project. Students will gather in the England Center Parking Lot on Center Street and together collect limbs across campus. This a great way for students to earn volunteer service hours and RSOs to earn points toward the Student Organization of the Year Award.
RSO Involvement Fair, Tuesday, Sep. 1 @ 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The Fall RSO Involvement Fair is a second opportunity for students to discover what organizations are registered at ASU-Beebe, all while giving students a great chance to explore how to get involved on campus! Hosted in the Dining Hall, every RSO will have a table with a graphic sign and signup list, whether the table is staffed or not. Sign-up is not required.
RSO Workshop, Wednesday, Sep. 2 @ 2 - 4 p.m.
Student organization leaders and advisors are encouraged to attend this afternoon event to learn about important updates and opportunities to engage on campus in the new semester. The event will include four 15-minute sessions covering the RSO Handbook & RSO Point System, Upcoming Events for RSOs, how to use Communities in my.asub.edu and the federally required hazing training. The workshop will be fast-paced and a great opportunity for your students’ RSO to learn and ask questions about being engaged on-campus this year.
