Just a friendly reminder, we are hosting PAT here in Logan County tomorrow, March 19th from 5PM-9PM. We will be providing snack and drinks for the event. We also will have additional parking available at Peak Propane (please see the photo below as there are highlighted spots for parking).

If you are attending BOTH Pesticide & Fertilizer Recertification expect to be here the whole time.

If you are attending ONLY Fertilizer Recertification this will be held from 5PM-6PM.

If you are attending ONLY Pesticide Recertification this will be held from 6PM-9PM.

We have a wonderful opportunity for those of you who love apple pie and the great outdoors!

We are putting on a class to teach you how to grow apples and graft them!

This age-old technique of splicing two apples together produces a disease resistant, productive, and well suited plant for growing delicious fruit at home!

The 2026 Community Garden registrations are now open through the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District website!

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Logan County Master Gardeners to offer the Troy Road Community Garden for the upcoming season. This program provides residents with the opportunity to grow their own flowers or fresh produce, connect with neighbors, and share gardening knowledge within our community.

Garden plots are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

To reserve your plot, visit the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District website or call our office at (937) 592-3475.

We are excited to announce a collaborative class with The Ohio Division of Wildlife! ODNR will be coming to the extension office on February 18th for an antlered deer scoring class. Anyone planning to attend must register online using the link in the flier, but the class is free! We hope to see you there!🦌

The Ohio State University will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. We look forward to spending time with our family and friends and observing the university’s
winter academic recess.
