English Language Institute at Bellevue College offers its students a chance to learn and grow in their understanding of English, as well as the dynamic lifestyle and culture of the Pacific Northwest. Teachers challenge and encourage their students to succeed in a well-rounded academic program. Courses are also provided for professionals or residents seeking to continue their study of language and

technology. Students from all over the world and within our own community can achieve their educational goals, build lasting friendships, and take advantage of a truly international experience here at BC.

What a week! 🎉

ELI and ELA students had an amazing time at Bellevue College’s Exploring Pathways events this week! Students attended workshops like Peers on the Pathways and Job Fair Preparation, connected with panel speakers, explored different academic and career options, and practiced networking skills at the Job Fair.

Spring quarter (Start a) Book Club is open to everyone!

Each week, we read short This I Believe essays and talk about a new theme together. It’s a great way to practice English, hear different perspectives, and connect with others.

This space is designed to support English language learners, but all students are welcome. You can participate as much or as little as you’d like. It’s okay to be late or to come without having done the reading. No pressure!
