Anthropology At Western Washington University The Anthropology major is a liberal arts degree with a broad base of information and understanding about human behavior.

We offer a liberal arts degree that provides a deep and complex understanding about human behavior that our 230+ talented undergraduate majors use to excel at working with sub-cultural differences. This unique, critical perspective provides a framework for understanding the many sub-cultural differences we meet every day. The Anthropology major can open many doors of opportunity and provide valuab

le training to successfully deal with the future. There are four sub-disciplines represented by the faculty and curricula of the University's Anthropology Department; Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistics and Biological Anthropology.
