The Catholic Benedictine traditions and values upon which the College was founded more than 140 years ago inform all aspects of campus life, including academics. Benedictine monks take three vows: stabilitas, conversatio morum, and obedientia which when translated simply mean stability, being amenable to change and improvement, and listening. If you're an incoming Crusader for the Fall 2026 semester, please don't forget that you have a few items you have to complete before move-in in August. Unsure about what you need to do? Check your Abbey Email for our Abbey Announcements, and newsletter sent out every two weeks that provides you with a customized to-do list! Meet Christian Arrington! He is a junior from Grand Rapids, MI. Christian is majoring in psychology and loves listening to the jokes Dr. Gomes makes during his lectures. One of his favorite college memories is qualifying for the NCAA wrestling tournament! He also loves hanging out outside with his friends, especially in the quad. Christians’ advice to incoming students is to live your life present, or else it’ll fly by!
