Our June Legacy is Bella Lilly!

Bella is a sophomore Film Studies major from Bauru, Brazil. She is the daughter of Ana Paula Monteiro-Lilly ’98 and Rick Lilly ’99.

Bella knew she wanted to come to the United States to study film and acting in college, and she felt God’s calling to UMHB. Her first memory of UMHB was during a college visit in 2021, when she saw her mom’s basketball jersey and flag displayed in Mayborn Gym. Today, those pieces serve as tangible reminders of her family’s history at UMHB and a sweet reminder of home.

Since arriving at UMHB, Bella has already made a meaningful impact on campus as the sophomore class director for Stunt Night (and helped lead her class to a win!) and currently serves as an RA in Burt Hall. We are so grateful for legacies like her!
