Congratulations to Marissa Scavuzzo!

๐ŸŽ‰ Congrats to HHMI Hanna Gray Fellow Marissa Scavuzzo at Case Western University School of Medicine, who has been awarded the 2023 Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology for her research in how glial cells in the intestine's nervous system operate! Her research could lead to the development of new and more efficient medicines that could help millions of people with gastrointestinal illnesses.

This prize is awarded annually for the most outstanding neurobiological research by an early-career scientist. Go Marissa!
