BWDT is gearing up for spring semester which means one thing…..SPRING AUDITIONS, we’re hold two informal open class auditions at the Lou Higgins Dance Studio and hope to see you there! No dance experience required just a positive mindset and some dancing feet. We’re so excited to meet you all!!!

Testing Grounds 25’

The BWDT team has been blessed to work on and display this dance piece entitled “The Village” featuring the song The Village by WRABEL. A piece that holds great significance and meaning for many. In which showcases the confusion, uncertainty, discrimination, and harassment that many non gender conforming individuals face. We chose this piece as it is relevant and applicable today in society, as we see a major push in Anti-Transgender and Anti-Q***r propaganda and legislature from our government. We wanted this piece to highlight the humility of Trans and Q***r individuals and remind them that their gender identity is not the problem, the problem is rooted in those who choose to hate what they cannot understand. BWDT wants to remind you to always choose love in a world so full of hate.

A Very Happy Homecoming Weekend!! 👑🏈🐝

We had so much fun walking in the parade and preforming for you at Bold & Gold!💛 We even got to support our very own VP Nyah who made Homecoming Court!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported us and a big thank you to and for the beautiful pictures!

And last but certainly not least BWDT’s Captain Kaitlyn 👩‍✈️⚓️✨🎉

Kaitlyn is a junior dance major with a computer science minor. They are from Columbus, OH and has been dancing for over 17 years. A fun fact about Kaitlyn is that they were in the pregame performance at the 2024 MLS All-Star soccer game.

Nyah is a senior studio art major with a minor in dance. She is from Columbus, OH and she has been dancing for 12 years. A fun fact about Nyah is that she can solve a Rubik’s cube.
