We are so excited to announce the first show of our BWMT 2026-2027 Season!

After an incredible first year together, we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Baldwin Wallace University for our 2026-2027 Season, Finding Light in the Change.

Since launching this collaboration, we’ve seen an increase in BW Music Theatre and Acting students in our main stage productions and as volunteers, welcomed arts management students onto our staff as marketing interns, and had students join us backstage as crew, stage managers, and carpenters.

We’re so excited to further strengthen our artistic connection with the incredible Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and announce our next collaboration: Songs for a New World!

Through a powerful collection of songs, this compelling musical explores the choices that shape our lives across time, place, and deeply human experiences. From searching for freedom to chasing your dreams, each story reveals what it means to step into the unknown and decide who you will become.

We can’t wait to welcome Baldwin Wallace Conservatory artists back to the Near West Theatre stage to create something truly special for our community.

Our 2026 Graduates are off to do great things, and Michael Sejka is no exception!

He will be headed to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the fall to continue his education. Michael will be pursuing his masters degree in music composition! 🎶

During his time at BW, Michael made the most of every opportunity, such as conducting the premiere of his ballad “Moving On”, dedicated to his friends, family, and the faculty at BW who supported him for the past 4 years.

We are incredibly proud to share that our very own Virginia Taylor Grabovsky will be joining the incredible Voces8 in July! ☀️

Virginia is an amazing young artist, and we are so excited to see her thrive in this new journey.

It’s always exciting for us to welcome a new voice into VOCES8, and we’re delighted to announce that Virginia Taylor Grabovsky will be joining the group from July 2026.

From the very first phrase she sang in her audition, we were immediately moved by the beauty, honesty, and innate musicianship of her singing. We know that our audiences and the wider VOCES8 community are going to love hearing and welcoming Virginia as she begins her career with us.

Here are a few words from Virginia:

‘Ever since I was a young chorister, VOCES8 has been one of my biggest musical inspirations. Joining the group now feels truly surreal. I’m incredibly grateful and so excited for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to step into this next chapter of my life.

I’ve always dreamed of making music with artists who inspire me not only musically, but personally as well, and I truly can’t imagine a better group to do that with. I’m especially looking forward to connecting with audiences around the world and sharing the joy that music has given me throughout my life.

I’m deeply thankful to my family, friends, and mentors for their constant support. I wouldn’t be here without them, and I carry their encouragement with me as I begin this exciting new journey.’
