The Ohio Zeta Chapter became the 100th national chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon on March 13, 1948 when it was founded as the Barbarian Club. It was the 6th chapter to be established in Ohio and is located on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH. Ohio Zeta is a Balanced Man chapter, which replaces pledging with an on-going education program that encourages new members and older member

Balanced Man Scholarship Dinner!!

This weekend SigEp was proud to host our second annual BMS dinner. We awarded 3 scholarship recipients $250 for displaying our true values: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Huge thanks to our alumni and families for supporting us and helping make this possible. Special thanks to our Ohio Zeta SigEp alumnus, Gopi Nadella for being our keynote speaker and giving an incredible speech.

Nate Hart on his Tragos Quest to Greece!

“Last month I had the lifetime experience on Tragos Quest to Greece. Over the ten days, I learned from other undergraduates, alumni mentors and the lessons from Ancient Greece. This experience furthered my understanding and knowledge of Sigeps values of Virtue, diligence, Brotherly love, sound mind and sound body. Exploring the mysteries of Greece challenged me to learn more about myself everyday. The quest was not just a ten day trip rather an invitation of a life long quest of excellence.”

Happy Father’s Day! 🩵

Today, we celebrate all of our amazing fathers who taught us the life lessons to be successful, balanced men. Our fathers and grandfathers have helped grow and develop our SigEp values early in life, leading us to the men we are today. We are forever grateful for these incredible men and appreciate everything they do for us!

Senior Spotlight!!!

Graham is first up and has been an extremely valued member of our chapter. He served as vice president of member development for our fraternities’ executive board becoming incredibly educated in Ohio Zeta history.

He built a foundation for future Vice Presidents of Member Development to use to help educate new members about the history of our amazing chapter!

Thank you Graham, you will be missed!

SigEp Retreat

This year for our brotherhood retreat brothers explored nature by camping. We shared stories over the fire about past and present members and had a great time connecting. We can’t wait for more adventures next semester!!

Spring Showdown 2026!!!

SigEp had an amazing time at Spring Showdown competing with other FSL organizations. This year SigEp came out on top in Tug and the Game Show making us the Fraternity Champions!!! This was a great experience for all members we’re excited to compete again next year!
