Wearing denim in support of Denim Day 👖💙 Alpha Delta Pi stands with survivors and joins the global effort to challenge victim-blaming, remembering that what someone wears is never consent; as sisters, we are committed to supporting survivors, fostering respect, and continuing these conversations in our chapter and community.

The women of ADPi Psi Chapter have spoken. We all want to give a special shout-out to the membership experience team, Haya Halabieh, Amy Hoefs, Tovia Sobel, Chloe Jedwood, and Lauren McBride. Although this semester has been virtual, this team has made the girls in this chapter feel very connected. Between retreat, initiation, sisterhood events, and so much more we are so impressed how much work they do to make us have a fun sorority experience.

Here are just a few of the Member Experience Team’s accomplishments this semester.

They started out the semester strong with a virtual career panel with alumnae. Haya, Director of Alumni Engagement, coordinated the event which had over 15 alumnae in attendance. Girls were able to get help on their resumes, ask for advice on career paths, and how being a member of ADPi contributed to their success in the professional world.

Member Experience also welcomed in 14 new Alpha members! Tovia, Director of New Member Experience, held engaging Alpha sessions and was an amazing ‘mom’ to our Alpha class. We are so grateful for the girls who make this experience enriching, even in an online environment.

Amy, Director of Ritual Education, coordinated this team’s first Diamond Days, ensuring the ceremonies were memorable for our Alpha class despite the fully virtual format. Additionally, we retained 100% of the new Alpha members, who are now NIDs!

Chloe, Sisterhood Programming Specialist, has planned virtual sisterhood events throughout the semester such as monthly Talk About it Tuesdays and Storytime nights! These weekly events give Deltas a chance to connect and have something to look forward to.

Lauren, VP of Member Experience, created a unique virtual chapter retreat experience moving away from the PowerPoint format and breaking off sisters into teams to complete ADPI related challenges! This was so fun and girls in the house wanted Lauren to know that “she deserves so much more recognition for the work she does. She's behind all of our experiences in ADPi and manages to do it all from home! She cares so much about each member of ADPi and is always on top of everything Member Experience related. She organized the most fun retreat I've been to and did it all virtually!”

Thank you so much Member Experience Team! This semester would not have been possible without you!

Today's is Salma Rocha! She is in the Latin American Leadership Society, which focuses on internal and external Latin America outreach. Salma is the action & service committee chair, and this semester her team raised $1700 for Funsovi, an orphanage in Venezuela. Also, at the end of January, her team is going to Tijuana to deliver care packages (made up of items that they've been collecting over the semester) to a safe space for broken-home children. Keep up the great work Salma!
