UC Berkeley Transfer Student Center Welcome to the UC Berkeley Transfer Student Center! This page is designed to connect transfers at Cal to information and advice.

The Transfer Student Services Center provides services to assist transfer students with navigating the academic and cultural landscape of the research university. We serve students who transfer to UC Berkeley from other institutions, those who are returning to their education after an interruption, and who are combining school with parenting. Our programs and services focus on supporting a success

ful transition, building connection and community, and assisting students as they pursue their academic and career goals. The center also plays a key role in campus outreach and recruitment through yield events and participation in programs involving California Community Colleges.

We at the TSC are excited to announce a special event with the Athletic study center! If you are interested in attending this event please follow the these directions:
⭐️Deadline to enter lottery: Tu 10/21
⭐️Winners will be emailed on Wed 10/22
⭐️Deadline to pick up ticket: Wed 10/29 (only at TSC Chavez)
⭐️Any remaining tickets after Wed 10/29 will be available first come first serve

There will be a mixer prior to the game open to all transfers in the ASC suites, details to come!

At the Transfer Student Center, we work every day to make that wish come true. The Bear-a-Thon helps us keep the TSC a home for transfer students — a welcoming space where they can find community, access resources, and feel supported throughout their Berkeley journey. 🏡✨

Despite summer coming to an end we are proud to announce the return of the summer hub to 100 Chavez starting 8/1!
Next week will be the last week of summer hub hours, which means there will be a reduced schedule:
⭐️Monday 8/4 will be virtual services only
⭐️Wednesday 8/6 summer hub will have a late start of opening up at 11am-4pm
So make sure to come say and check out the space!!!!
