Thanks to our dear Anna Pak (BS Psychology (Brain & Cognition), 2026) who has gone from being an Honors Scholar and student worker in our office to being an Honors Booster! Anna kindly donated her microwave to enhance our mini-kitchen services in the Honors Office, replacing Dr. Pittman’s former dorm microwave (a vintage piece of equipment dating from 1987)! Introducing the J. N. Andrews Honors Scholar Medallion! To celebrate the program’s sixtieth anniversary (1966-2026), we are adding to our graduates’ regalia. Our Honors Scholars will now receive the J. N. Andrews Honors Scholar Medallion in addition to the traditional triple cords (Blue, Gold, and White)! Thanks to all our alumni for contributing to the rich and blessed learning life of our community for the past sixty years!

Heartfelt thanks go to our Honors Office student worker, Ms. Anna Pak, who has served us so faithfully for the last three years, creating such a spirit of welcome and hospitality in our office. During this past, especially difficult year, Anna has gone above and beyond to serve our learning family. We will miss her as she graduates and prepares for optometry school. We also want to thank another graduating senior, Ms. Maddi Vath, for volunteering at the front desk alongside Anna and Ms. Audrey Lim when we were without an administrative assistant and during Dr. Pittman’s compassionate leave. Many thanks and abundant blessings to our graduating team members, Anna and Maddi, for your leadership and service!
