Started in 1963, Andrews University Seminary Studies' first editor was Siegfried H. AUSS was created to promote the academic research within theological and biblical studies. Some of its early writers include Fritz Guy, Edward Heppenstall, Earle Hilbert, Jerome Jutstesen, W.M. Marter, Jack Provonsha, Edwin Thiele, Daniel Walther, and Jean Zurcher.
