After 40 years of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church—36 of them right here at Andrews—Ron is retiring as director of Andrews University Press. Enrollment professionals and experts from across the Adventist higher education system gathered for breakout sessions on enrollment, marketing, recruitment, and leadership. The Andrews community gathered in the Howard Performing Arts Center lobby on Monday, May 4 to celebrate Alayne Thorpe's retirement. As dean of the College of Education & International Services, dean of graduate studies and president of Griggs International, Thorpe pioneered distance education at Andrews throughout her incredible career. Thank you for your years of dedicated service!

The Office of Research & Creative Scholarship hosted a Grant Writing Workshop from May 5–9. Faculty, staff and emerging researchers participated in presentations, guided writing sessions and interactive discussions. Attendees developed proposal concepts and received feedback from experienced research development staff. Level up your research game!
