GOD’S WORD Translation Bible was produced using a theory of translation that combines accuracy with understandability. This theory is called closest natural equivalence. In short, closest natural equivalence concentrates on accurately translating the meaning of the original languages into natural English.

At the same time, closest natural equivalence retains as many of the unique characteristics of the original text as possible without making the English translation unnatural or harder to understand than the text was in the original languages. That’s why you can hear God’s word in clear, natural English.

What is faith?

Faith is putting your full trust in God. This means believing, not only that God exists, but trusting in Him. We need to rest in His promises when we cannot see the whole path ahead.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”

Faith guides obedience. Genuine faith moves people to act in alignment with God’s will. Faith says, “even if I do not see it yet, I know God is working”. Trust in Gods voice over the loud noise of the distractions. Surrender your understanding and allow for God to truly be in control.
