Hi everyone!

After the screening of Hocus Pocus tonight, I was made aware of deeply offensive and violent remarks Bette Midler tweeted a few weeks back that specifically marginalized Black women. I was not aware until after the screening that these comments had been made, and I am deeply sorry for any harm the choice to show this film had on anyone within the PRISM community. I thank the folks who brought this to my attention and welcome further conversation about this issue. PRISM does not support Bette Midler's comments. We welcome ALL who wish to be a part of this group and will do better to ensure this is always the case.

Well, hasn't it been a while??

PRISM is thrilled to announce it's October event for campus: a screening of HOCUS POCUS on Friday, October 19 from 5-7PM in Packer House! All grad students are welcome to join us for some witches and ghouls with free pizza and soda!

Submissions for proposals are now open for the 2015 Lehigh Valley LGBTQIA Conference which will be held on April 18th at Lafayette College. Deadline for submission is Friday, March 13. Program sessions are 75 minutes in length and they are looking to secure a wide-range of presenters including students, community members, faculty, staff, etc., so please feel free to spread the link widely!!
