Moravian Instilling Diversity Equality and Awareness- IDEA Our mission is to promote a greater awareness and understanding of the cultural heritages of Black, Latino, Asian, and Native Americans.

Instilling Diversity Equality and Awareness (IDEA) will tackle issues of the BLANA community by educating the student body and surroundin

g communities on current social and cultural concerns. In addition, we are committed to exploring issues related to injustice and inequality and using our collective voices to advocate for social justice. IDEA will strive to provide a social atmosphere where BLANA students are able to express themselves and speak openly.

General information

In the summer of 2012, we had Michelle Obama come and speak to the community. In past years we have been in charge of Spoken Word. In 2012 we also brought John Legend to speak to students about being leaders.
