Sydney McCreary, ΘT, is a senior studying early childhood education & intervention specialist who received a 2022-23 academic scholarship. Sydney wanted to share this with Foundation donors: “The biggest thing I want to say to Foundation donors is THANK YOU! I am incredibly grateful for your generosity and helping me get through college. Nobody warns you how tough it really is, until you get there. I am so thankful I was able to be one of the recipients and I am so thankful for your hard work and donations to make this Sorority so impactful on its members.”

This Wednesday we will be hosting Minute to Win It - Olympic Games in support of Special Olympics! ❤️ All donations will support the year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Thank you for your support! 😊

Theta Tau's chapter is hosting a Minute to Win it fundraiser based on the TV show. This event is open to campus and donations are accepted!

A huge congratulations is in order for the members of Theta Tau! Our chapter has received three national collegiate awards at the 52nd National Convention & Leadership Conference. We are forever thankful for the hard work & dedication our members bring to our chapter. It is an incredible honor to have received these awards especially being able to be presented with the Crown of Excellence two years in a row! ❤️

•Dr. S. June Smith Service and Giving Award - The service and giving award is given to a chapter that best exhibits the Alpha Sigma Alpha value of generosity

•Four-Star Chapter Award - This award recognizes collegiate chapters that uphold the high ideals of the sorority including areas such as membership, academic excellence, membership education, chapter operations, service and giving, national meetings, ritual, & more!

•Crown of Excellence Award- This award recognizes the chapter achieving the highest percentage of requirements toward the Four-Star Chapter Award. It is the top honor a collegiate chapter can receive!

This past weekend we participated in Polar Plunge alongside many other greek org representatives. Although it was so very cold we had the amazing opportunity to raise money for Special Olympics so that they can keep providing year-around training to over 5 million people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Overall we raised $1005 in support of Special Olympics! Thank you to everyone that supported, donated, and participated. ❤️

Happy National Join a Sorority week!!

Sorority has made an impact in each of our lives. We have met amazing, wonderful, brilliant women. We have witnessed the power of friendships with other women. We have gained the skills necessary to contribute to our careers in the future. We have connected with others who may have never crossed our path before. We have had our eyes open to the lives, struggles and passions of others. All of this was gained because of Sorority.
