We will be having common meal February 22, 2024 at 6:30 PM at the IHOP. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there. There will be a baked potato bar.

On Wednesday, January 18, 2024 the Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University community gathered for an ecumenical Christian prayer breakfast. Several people in the community offered their musical talents and prayed for the community, city, state and nation. The Rev. Dr. Kevin Dudley preached. This was a great way to kick off the week of pray for Christian unity.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6:30pm we will be having the first common meal of the spring semester at the IHOP. We will be having some yummy Hungarian dishes. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

On Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10:00 am in Schnek Chapel we will be having an Advent and Christmas hymn festival. This will be the last chapel of the semester. We hope to see all of you there.

We will be having common meal tomorrow SEPTEMBER 28 at the HOP at 6:30 PM!

It is guaranteed to be a fun time with lots of pancakes and fellowship. 🥞

A group of seminarians traveled to Pine Ridge, South Dakota for a May 2023 immersion class. During their time there they spent time learning, listening, and having conversations with Native Americans. On September 26 after Tuesday Eucharist students will share their reflections about the trip. On October 5 there will be Visio Divina with artwork from their trip there. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

On August 22, 2023 we will gather as a community for a time of fellowship and worship before the semester starts. There will be food at 6:30 pm and night prayer at 8:00 pm. There will be more details forthcoming. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.

A group of seminarians traveled to Pine Ridge Reservation in Pine Ridge, South Dakota for a May 2023 immersion trip class. During their time there they spent time learning, listening, and having conversations with Native Americans. They stayed at the Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center which is located on the reservation.

It was a fun, transformative, and educational trip for many that went on the trip. The seminarians that went on this trip will share more of their reflections with the wider seminary community in the fall.

This last week was camp affinity week. It was an absolutely gorgeous week to celebrate and learn about all things camp and outdoor ministry related. ☀️🏕️🔥❤️
