⚡️ The future of the power industry is looking bright! ⚡️

Our second class of Lineman students has officially completed the program and is ready to take the next step into the workforce. These five students successfully mastered climbing skills, distribution operations, and line skills fundamentals throughout their training.

During the Lineman Rodeo, they put their skills to the test by fixing a blown fuse, covering up a line, tying in a phase, climbing poles, and performing hand-line work. Instructor Ben Lane guided spectators through each challenge, providing insight into the techniques and safety practices used in the field.

Following the rodeo, students celebrated their accomplishments alongside family and friends at a reception, while area employers had the opportunity to connect with graduates about career opportunities.

Congratulations to these students as they power forward into their careers! ⚡️🔧👷‍♂️

Looking for a way to give back to the community? 🤝🏼

On June 19th and July 17th , West Texas Food bank will be on campus to do their community food distribution from 10 am - 12 pm in the Memorial Stadium Parking Lot! This is a great chance for students to earn hours to apply towards scholarships or for anyone to lend a hand.

🔐 Put teamwork & problem-solving skills to the test in an English escape room
🎯 Created vision boards to set goals & plan for the future
