William Carey University School of Pharmacy's student organization members of APhA and SLC would like to extend an invitation to the pharmacy faculty, staff and students to the American Foundation of Su***de Prevention (AFSP) annual Out of the Darkness Walk!
This walk brings our community together to raise awareness, show support, and help spread hope for those affected by su***de. Come out and listen to guest speakers talk about their personal experiences and professionals who are there to help in a person’s darkest moments. Immediately after, we will walk together to create a community where no one has to struggle alone!
Details about the event are as followed:
• Location: Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention in Biloxi
• Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Time: 10:00 am (registration will open at 9:00 am)
• Distance: approximately 2 miles
Register for FREE at https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/GulfCoast. If you won’t know if you are able to make in advance, no worries, you are able to register that morning. Also using that link, AFSP is also taking donations for those who want to donate.
