Our week-long programs designed to teach kids (Grade 5 and above), teens, and adults about archaeology. Adults get to help excavate site, by working side-by-side with professional archaeologists. Teens learn about archaeology in the field and through interesting activities in PAF's laboratories. Kids have fun getting their first experiences in archaeology by going on field trips, doing experimental archaeology, and having fun!

If you have not yet been to the Thomas Cole National Historic Site where Jesse is the senior manager of events, marketing and visitor operations, we highly recommend a visit.

Interested in Archeology? You have two chances this week to meet students from the National Park Service Archeology Program-Public Archaeology at Binghamton University archeology field school which has been working in recent weeks at the Schuyler Estate. Bring the whole family and visit the team at Visitor Center on Wednesday, June 25 from 2:00 to 4:15 pm for fun hands-on activities to learn about the field of archeology! On Friday, June 27 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, you can visit the team at their worksite on the Schuyler Estate. Members of the team will be ready to answer your questions while others are hard at work.
