Say hello to Katie Steele, Co-chair of Programs for PRCA/PRSSA at UAB. 💚⭐️
In this role, Katie helps organize and execute special events, guest speakers and activities for the chapter. She is responsible for surveying the membership on ideas for speakers and times to meet, booking rooms for meetings and coordinating the chapter meetings.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Katie is on track to graduate in the Spring of 2026.
Over the Summer, Katie served as the communications intern at UAB Marketing and Communications, where she focused on media relations. She wrote stories to promote UAB, pitched them to the media, worked on internal stories and helped create social media content.
“I am excited that PRCA/PRSSA at UAB has so many committed officers who are great to work with. I cannot wait to see new members join our chapter, and plan some fun events to get everyone involved,” said Katie.
