We are the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Our 19 departments—home to over 300 faculty and more than 40 baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees—make us the largest academic unit at UAB. The College is home to the natural sciences and mathematics, arts and humanities, and social and behavioral sciences. In addition, we offer a range of interdisciplinary programs, including five shared programs with the Heersink School of Medicine, a degree in human rights, and more.
