Christopher Henrich, Ph.D., chair of the UAB Department of Psychology, and his former student, Amanda Thompson, Ph.D., are winners of the National Institutes of Health Replication Prize. As a Replication Idea Winner, Dr. Henrich successfully identified a high-impact area of research in critical need of replication studies. Congratulations, Blazer!

UAB’s new interdisciplinary Rocketry Club has reached an impressive milestone! Guided by faculty advisor Cheng-Chien Chen, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Physics, and rocketry mentor Caleb Knight, a Physics Ph.D. student, the team successfully launched and recovered their Vulcan I rocket at NASA’s highly-competitive Student Launch Challenge last month.
