Beeson Divinity School Samford University's Beeson Divinity School exists to prepare God-called men and women to serve as ministers in the Church of Jesus Christ.

Samford University's Beeson Divinity School is an interdenominational, evangelical school providing an in-person theological education for the training of God-called men and women to serve as ministers in the Church of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by providing face-to-face, classical graduate theological education, worshiping the Triune God and encouraging the practices of Christian spirituali

ty in covenanted community. Beeson offers three graduate degrees: Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) and Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (MACC). Beeson also offers two advanced degrees: Master of Theology (ThM) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology for the Church.

This afternoon, we had the honor of hosting Wray and Joan Pearce and thanking them for their generosity in providing a major donation to Beeson, funding the new Dr. Thomas Corts, Dr. James Barnette, J. Wray Pearce and Joan B. Pearce Family Impact Scholarship, named after the Pearces, former Samford President Thomas Corts and former Samford professor Jim Barnette.

We were also glad to welcome the families of Drs. Corts and Barnette and honor the legacy of these two great Christian men.

We are so grateful for these families and their impact on and love for Samford, Beeson, the Lord and His church.
