Population Reference Bureau recently covered research by Professor Thomeer and PhD student Dee Ferguson on how mother-adult child relationships change over time.

A new study finds that growing up doesn’t mean growing apart—at least not always. Researchers identified six distinct patterns for how mother-child relationships change across the 20s.
