Recognized as the School of Education’s Outstanding Dissertation for the 2025-26 academic year, Mann’s research examines how school leaders can foster stronger professional learning and healthier school culture across generations of educators.

Our senior teacher education interns wrapped up their time at Samford through their Capstone presentations, showcasing the growth, experiences and classroom readiness they developed throughout the program.

The day also included presentations from seniors involved in the Penn State University project, highlighting meaningful research and collaboration experiences along the way.

Following the presentations, everyone gathered for a Senior Luncheon in the Education Learning Commons to celebrate their accomplishments. 🎉

In April, our junior teacher education students wrapped up a special pen-pal experience with second-graders at South Shades Crest Elementary. 📚✏️

After spending the school year exchanging letters, the students finally met in person for the first time and celebrated with a book exchange to continue encouraging a love of reading.

Thank you to South Shades Crest Elementary for partnering with us to create this meaningful experience!

Celebrating excellence 🎓

During Friday’s commencement ceremony, Trinity Elizabeth Phillips ’26, received the Velma Wright Irons Award, recognizing the second-highest GPA across all undergraduate schools at Samford.
