As you continue into the Fall semester, we want to introduce ourselves and some of our friends!

At this event in Lister Hill on the 4th Floor (September 14 from 10:30-11:30AM), we will help you navigate the worlds of service-learning and undergraduate research, and provide you with all the resources necessary to thrive here at the UAB.

At this informal, come-and-go event you can learn how to get hands-on experience to put what you’re at UAB learning into practice. We promote, support, and facilitate student and faculty engagement by connecting you with community nonprofit partners and research opportunities. Office staff will be available to chat about this and point you toward additional resources for your continued growth and advancement.

The Capitol Scholars Program will be giving a virtual information session on September 1 from 5–6 p.m. to learn more about the program.

Applications are due Monday, September 14 at 12:00 p.m.

Students will be selected through a competitive application and interview process.

On the board, you can get experience behind the scenes of the scientific publishing process while working with the team towards highlighting UAB student researchers!

Depending on the committee, the position will require a time commitment of ***1-3 hours per week***.
