Student Multicultural & Diversity Programs at UAB Additionally, we support the growth of students' attitudes, ideas, and behaviors as they relate to multicultural issues and personal and social identities.

Multicultural and Diversity Programs serves the UAB Community, especially our students, by developing programs and resources that promote multicultural and social justice awareness, education and appreciation. Multicultural and Diversity Programs focuses on the six areas of Cultural Engagement, Student Leadership, Dialogue and Critical Thought, Mentorship Programs, LGBTQ Programs, and Diversity Tr

I will strive to build an inclusive community at UAB. I believe that every student, faculty and staff member has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and self-worth. I will work to ensure that my behavior and my actions do not harass or make fun of anyone due to their race, gender, culture, faith, class, sexual orientation, disability, or any other difference.
