Climbing Club at UAB

High Point Climbing And Fitness Birmingham is hosting the second round of the 2019 Southern Grit series THIS SATURDAY, October 12th!
Spend a rainy Saturday inside crushing some sick boulders set up with a modified redpoint style with multizone scoring. Competitors will have three hours of climbing time to take their shot in one of four brackets at winning some sweet prizes from REI and other generous sponsors!
Collegiate local competition check in is at 10am and climbing begins at 11am. There will also be a citizens comp for non-students — check in at 3pm with climbing starting at 4pm. .
$45 to enter.

we’re incredibly proud of our UAB winners from the auburn ascent competition yesterday! shoutout to Victoria Leigh Smith (first in women’s recreational), Larkin McCrosky (third in men’s recreational), Olivia Dunne (third in women’s intermediate), and Daichi Armand (first in men’s intermediate).

we have had a fantastic comp season this year and we can’t wait for next time!!! way to go guys!

we had a great time last night at Birmingham Boulders! we especially enjoyed getting to meet some of the climbers from the ua climbing team! we could not be more stoked about this upcoming comp season
