We'd like to recognize to two brothers from our Σ pledge class on the work they did in D.C. this summer. Chad Berl and Kyle Frew-Kuhns both had the opportunity to intern with congressmen where they spent time getting real experience in federal policy making. Way to represent guys!

Congratulations to brothers Anthony Rowen, Hunter Martin, and sweetheart Jazmin Johnson on landing some incredible internships this summer! Junior member Anthony will be working for cement plant Titan America as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Roanoke. Sophomore member Hunter will be interning for Whiting-Turner Contracting in Newport News, on of the nation's top ten general contractors! Finally, our new sweetheart Jazmin will be interning with NeuroRestorative, here in Blacksburg, where she will be working with brain and spinal chord injury patients. We also want to recognize our freshman brother Garrett Stockwell for becoming a Hokie Ambassador! Incredible guys, good work to all our brothers this year. Enjoy your summer everyone.

So bittersweet to say goodbye to these influential members who have had such an impact on our growing chapter. Best of luck to them in their future endeavors! Another big shoutout to our Senior Joe Blochberger on his job acceptance! Graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree, he'll be working up in Groton, CT, for General Dynamics Electric Boat, the world's foremost nuclear submarine design and build company. On top of that, he not only just presented his senior design project at the NASA Langley Research Center, but also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. You're awesome man, congrats!

We've got another round of awesome acknowledgements for KDR! Congrats to our Pledge Ryan Franzoni on landing an internship with the U.S. NAVY this summer! We've also got a special shoutout to our senior Alex Griffith; not only did he land a job as a Systems Analyst for Fidelity Investments in Raleigh, he scored in the top 15% on his ETS Exam AND will be graduating Magna Cum Laude. So awesome man, congrats!

We've got a lot more brothers to recognize for their accomplishments: Shoutout to Sophomore Connor Goudy and the amazing opportunity he received to work as a Quarry Operations Mining Engineering Intern for Tilcon New Tork Inc. up in NJ this summer. And a huge congrats to our Senior Patrick Izzo on his job acceptance with Royal Building Products as an R&D Engineer right here in SW Virginia. Also, we'd like to give a special acknowledgement to our sweetheart Audris Tran for signing onto the W Hotels team last week as a Banquet Manager and Event Planner up in DC! Fingers crossed we get discounted rooms and VIP access to events. Congrats guys!
