Diversity Summit 2017 to focus on the Inclusive VT Mission:

The 2017 Inclusive VT Diversity Summit will be held on Wednesday August 15 at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. The summit with key diversity and inclusion stakeholders and Inclusive VT representatives will focus on reinvigorating collective efforts around the Inclusive VT mission and strategic goals.

Vice President for Strategic Affairs and Vice Provost for Inclusion and Diversity Dr. Menah Pratt-Clarke will lead the opening charge. Key note speaker is Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Luisa Havens. Office for Inclusion and Diversity faculty members: Marcy Schnitzer, Mercedes Rodriguez Fernandez, Michele Deramo, and Ellington Graves will facilitate breakout sessions on diversity hiring, student success and retention, cultural change and advancing the human condition.
