College Knights of Columbus Council Indiana University This is the page for the College Council of the Knights of Columbus at Indiana University. We are devoted to the ideals of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.

The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic fraternal organization devoted to the ideals of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. Their goal is to strengthen the message of the Gospel in the world through their acts and to serve the Church and Community wherever a Council is located. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, so

cial welfare, war relief and public relief works. The Knights are always looking for Catholic Males who feel the call to serve their fellow humans and to become a part of our movement of service.

We Knights wish to express our great appreciation for the opportunity to serve at the Educate Haiti Gala at Oliver Winery on Wednesday. This gala was designed and put together by two wonderful parishioners from St. Paul's and we are so blessed to have been a part of it. Last year this same event raised around $17,000 dollars all of which went to Haiti to build a school and to support the children there. This event was a great way for officers of the Knights to start the year and to help showcase our ideals of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity to the world. God bless!

We wanted to thank everyone who has recently like our new page and to give you an update on what we as Knights here at IU are up to as an end of year report. We recently had our Little 500 fundraiser and raised more than 400 dollars! All of this money will go to two Haitian children, Seraphim for their education this next year. Education in Haiti is not free as our system here is, it is all privately funded and tuition is around 225 dollars per student. We are proud to say we have met that goal for these two students. Their names are Seraphin and Illona, and we will not only be supporting the financial for the rest of their education, their ENTIRE education, but we will also be communicating with them via letters as the years go on.
