The Indiana University's Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs (DEMA) strives to foster an inclusive environment that promotes and nurtures diversity, broadly defined, on all campuses of Indiana University. st work.” To fulfill its mission, the office strategically focuses on the recruitment and retention of faculty, staff and students; the promotion of a welcoming and positive campus climate; and engagement in outreach and advocacy locally and nationally. The IU DEMA office is the recipient of the "2015 and 2016 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award (HEED)" from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, and was most recently recognized as the "2015 Top 25 LGBTQ-friendly campuses."

On Wed, Sep 18 enjoy a slice of pizza or pie while getting advice from FASE peer mentors! 🥧🍕🥧🍕
These gatherings are the perfect opportunity to ask questions, connect with fellow Scholars, unwind with fun games, and enjoy tasty snacks. Feel free to bring your friends! The meeting takes place at the OVPDEI Building from 2:30-4:30pm —drop by between classes or stay for the entire time!

21st Century Scholars Days

Saturday, July 15, Noon – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 16, Noon – 4:00 p.m.

Representatives from the 21st Century Scholars Program will be at the IU booth to help students sign up, check their enrollment status, and answer questions. In addition, there will be opportunities to complete the 9th-12th grade Scholars Success Program requirements.
