This statement has been a long time coming. We will not be silent. We will not stay silent. We thank our whole chapter for taking the time to create this statement, and it is just one of many conversations to come. We hear you. We hurt with you. We stand with you. This conversation and revolution should’ve been brought to the nation and the world years, decades, and centuries ago. The racial injustice our country has faced and faces today is unacceptable. 2020 will be the year of the initiation of change, followed by a lifetime of voices being heard and equity for all. November is National Alzheimer’s Awareness month! When we have our sisters by our side, we can do anything. The Tau chapter completed the Bloomington walk on September 15, fighting for those who can no longer remember. Let’s fight to find a cure.
