The Singing Hoosiers

Indiana University's Ambassadors of Song. Chris Albanese, Director Smaller, more select groups exist from within the larger ensemble.

The Indiana University Singing Hoosiers have a long and storied tradition of excellence in the contemporary vocal arts, performing popular contemporary vocal music ranging from The Great American Songbook, jazz, Broadway, to the hits of today. Dazzling choreography and a fun, energetic and entertaining program that appeals to all audiences and all ages are a part of a Singing Hoosier performance

. The ensemble averages 95 student singers and instrumentalists from the IU Jacobs School of Music as well as students from throughout the university. Auditions for The Singing Hoosiers are open at any Indiana University student, regardless of major.

Today, Felicity Kratky is taking over our social media stories! Felicity is a senior from Fortville, IN studying Vocal Performance with an outside field in Environmental Management. She is a four year member of Singing Hoosiers and one of the ensemble’s social coordinators. Outside of the ensemble, she works as a server and loves a good hike.

He is a second year member of Singing Hoosiers, and outside of the ensemble, he is involved with Home Health Aid, Ski Club, and is a Peer Instructor for Global LLC.
