The Kappa Tau Omega Chapter is proud to announce our 2026 Audrey T. McCluskey Book Grant winner, Joy Akinniranye! Joy is a senior at Indiana University majoring in Community Health who aspires to have a career as a Physician’s Assistant after graduation. Joy is the Vice President of You See Me, a mental health volunteer organization for minority women. Her scholarly research focuses on systemic barriers that limit access to mental health care. That research has led her community to find resources for students to cover the cost of additional sessions through IU’s CAPS mental health service. We are so excited to be able to award Joy with this grant funding! Congratulations, Joy!

The Kappa Tau Omega Chapter is excited to announce our 2026 Constance K. Holland Scholarship recipient, Charlotte Hogan! Charlotte is a senior at Bloomington High School South. She plans to attend Indiana University in the fall and study Elementary Education. Charlotte currently serves the community through teaching at her synagogue and participating in the program Student to Student, bringing Jewish and non-Jewish students together to learn about Judaism and become an allied force in our community. Please join us in congratulating Charlotte! Community
