The Rivendell Program returns to the apprenticeship model that Jesus used with his disciples, in which personal relationships are the key to learning. As part of the 16-month AA degree program, students will receive discipleship, community, and a biblical worldview foundation - education the way it was intended. We devised a curriculum that does not simply meet the requirements of a typical Associ

ate of Arts degree, but exceeds it. Many colleges and universities today concentrate on developing one aspect of the person, namely, the intellect. In doing so, they leave many aspects of personal development untouched and undeveloped. We implement a Hebraic style of education that seeks to educate the whole person. Because God sees students as more than a brain, so do we. We are also spiritual beings, social beings, moral beings, physical beings, and emotional beings. As such, our curriculum daily implements five essential disciplines—a rigorous academic pursuit, spiritual formation, holy and healthy living, community service, and life skills. Located on a beautiful 50-acre campus in Bloomington, MN, the SDC Rivendell Program is about 10 miles south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St.
