Steele, International political theorist from the Department of Political Science at the University of Utah. To help you answer these questions (and more), we would like to invite you to "Navigating Global Careers": a panel discussion hosted by the Walter Center for Career Achievement and the School of Global and International Studies.

Representatives from 9 different organizations (public and private—see below) will be there to discuss what it means to have a global or international career, as well as the specific skill sets, rewards, and challenges that are specific to working for a globally-focused organization.

The Academy Award nominated documentary, Fire at Sea, will be shown at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on Sunday, Feb 19 at 8pm.

Directed by Gianfranco Rosi, the Italian-language film tells the story of 12-year-old Samuele, who lives in Lampedusa, a once peaceful Mediterranean island that has become a major entry point for African refugees.

The screening is part of The Ryder Film Series and funded in part by the IU Department of International Studies.
