This Friday the Rho chapter will be hosting a midterm study session for any interested students! This study session is meant to help students prepare for any midterms that they have in the upcoming weeks. We will provide study materials such as note cards as well as snacks. Hello everyone! On April 18th at 5:30 pm in Hundred Hall TBS will be hosting a Women in Music event with Monika Herzig as the guest speaker. Monika Herzig is currently Professor for Artistic Research at the Jam Music Lab Private University in Vienna, Dr. Monika Herzig and is the author of “David Baker – A Legacy in Music” (IU Press), Experiencing Chick Corea: A Listener’s Companion (Rowman and Littlefield, 2017), and co-editor of Jazz and Gender (Routledge, 2022). She has also received rewards from DownBeat Magazine and was featured on NPR and JazzWeek. If you are interested in attending the event, please fill out the RSVP form attached to this post!
