Good Afternoon! Student Poetry Association has teamed up the The Exchange center in town to throw a unity event. This is a really important event because I want it to be a byproduct of the Beyond the fountain talk last semester. At Beyond the fountain it was recognized that there is tension between some of the townsfolk and students at BU. We came together to have a conversation about that. However, this is an event dedicated to unifying the townspeople and BU students. In other words Beyond the fountain was a talk and this is action towards facilitating a better relationship between us. Townspeople and BU students alike can see that we all have talents, our own opinions and feelings and in the midst of all of that we have a lot in common to bring us together. Student Poetry Association will be carpooling to the event. If anyone would like to carpool with us or would like a ride they can contact any of our social medias (Facebook @ StudentPoetryAssociation, Twitter @ BU_poetry, IG @ Bu_spa). We are looking for people with cars who would like to help carpool as well as people who would like a ride to the event.

CONTEST EXTENDED!!! There is a ongoing competition for who can design the best poetry T-Shirt. ANYONE can design a T shirt and submit it to S.P.A Husky sync or [email protected]. There will be a first, second, and third place prize for the winners. Contest now ends 10/19/18. Good luck!

Dear Student Poetry Association Members,

I hope you are all still continuing to write and I look forward to hearing all of you guys poetry when we get back to campus. Now I know that you guys were not expecting to hear from me for a couple more months but I am starting to work on events for next semester and I wanted to make the date and time clear for the first meeting so that everyone can attend.
