Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was born on January 16, 1920, on the campus of Howard University — not as a trend, not as a social club, but as a vision.
A vision carried by five extraordinary young women:
Arizona Cleaver Stemons
Myrtle Tyler Faithful
Viola Tyler Goings
Fannie Pettie Watts
Pearl Anna Neal
Five Pearls who believed that scholarship should have purpose, that sisterhood should be authentic, that service should uplift entire communities, and that womanhood should be defined not just by style — but by substance.
They founded Zeta Phi Beta on four timeless principles:
Scholarship – because knowledge is a pathway to freedom
Service – because giving is how we strengthen our people
Sisterhood – because unity is power
Finer Womanhood – because grace and excellence are a way of life
Zeta Phi Beta didn’t just join history — they changed it.
They became:
• The first Black sorority to charter a chapter in Africa
• The first to form official youth and auxiliary groups
• The only sorority constitutionally bound to a fraternity — Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Their work has touched families, schools, hospitals, and neighborhoods for over a century — from Stork’s Nest, improving maternal and infant health, to Z-HOPE, uplifting communities through education, empowerment, and service.
Today, Zeta Phi Beta is more than an organization — it is a global sisterhood of over 125,000 members and 850+ chapters across the United States, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.

The Brothers of Epsilon Sigma Sigma gave a little the time to Relay for life 5K cure for cancer walk today. Some of the brother participated in the 5k walk or run other stand at different point the was to spray color powder . Over all today was day of service and build relationships in the community.
